Mike Cardwell's
Rattlesnake Myths Busted
Your one-stop-shop for accurate information about rattlesnakes and other venomous creatures north of Mexico
This site covers "venomous" creatures, which are creatures that have a delivery mechanism (like fangs or stingers) to inject their toxins into the skin. This site does not cover "poisonous" creatures; that is, creatures that produce toxins without a delivery system. Poisonous creatures' toxins usually have to be ingested (eaten) or absorbed (usually through the skin) to cause illness.
